Preparing for Your First Visit
What You Need to Know Before Your Consultation or Procedure
Our first appointment at Kissimmee Oral Surgery will typically include a thorough consultation to discuss your diagnosis, review x-rays (if available), and outline your treatment options.
In some cases, surgery may be performed on the same day. However, if your procedure is complex or your medical history requires further review, we will schedule a follow-up appointment for treatment.
What to Bring to Your Consultation
To help us provide the best care possible, please bring the following items with you:
- Our referral slip and any x-rays from your dentist or physician
- A list of current medications
- Completed insurance forms (if applicable) to help us process claims efficiently
For Patients Under 18
All patients under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for their consultation.

If You’re Scheduled for IV Sedation
A preoperative consultation and physical exam are required. Please follow these important guidelines:
- No food or drink for 8 hours before your surgery
- Arrange for a responsible adult to drive you home after your procedure
Medical Conditions or Medications
Please notify our office before your appointment if you have any of the following:
- Medical conditions such as diabetes, high blood pressure, heart conditions, or joint replacements
- Medications such as blood thinners, aspirin, or heart medication
X-Rays
If your dentist or physician has taken x-rays, please ask them to send them to our office in advance. If that’s not possible, you may bring them with you.
Additional x-rays can be taken at our facility if needed.
